Mayumi Nashida is a professional photographer based in New York. Since 1993, she has been specializing in the field of music and entertainment.
She is particularly known for her portraiture of musicians. Her impressive portfolio includes portraits of musicians and actors used extensively for album cover artwork, advertising and promotional material. She has also documented various red carpet events,
concerts and interviews for press and magazines. In recent years, Nashida has also been vigorously expanding into the fields of business, fashion, travel as well as weddings and family portraits.
Born in Japan, Nashida began her career as a creative coordinator at Sony Music (Japan), working on album
covers and promotional material. Her job inspired her to
study photography, and upon moving to New York, she embarked upon a successful career as a professional photographer.
